About Smiling7

Adult ESOL Instructor: I'm a believer in intentional dialogue and storytelling as effective, meaningful change strategies; a believer in avoiding war, enabling peace. I'm a "self-described eclectic with tangential tendencies."

In reverse alphabetical order, here are a few more words to describe me: wife, 'wannabe' global traveler, volunteer, TESOLer, Twitterer, recycler, poet, photographer, mom, listserv follower, floral designer, blogger, avid reader, more!

I have attended and presented at several conferences: local, regional, state, international, (both in person and virtually).

Locally, I do volunteer work for literacy and refugee organizations.

Other recent volunteer work is / has been with groups focusing on Community Dialogue, Undoing Racism, Poetry, Nature parks and trails, Storytelling, more.

Fifteen years ago I was very active in Parent-Teacher organizations, Camp Fire Boys and Girls Association (group leader and trainer).
