Our Pets

Here are two pictures of our beloved dogs. The first one was taken seven months ago. The second was taken today.
Pets mean so many different things to different individuals in different cultures. I grew up in a family with a lot of pets all the time. I always had a cat, a bird, a dog and a hamster that were only mine. They were my good friends and as a small child I talked to them, especially the dog and the cat, as if they were a sibling or a dear friend.
When my kids were babies I became much less tolerant of animals. I wanted them outside always and taking care of them seemed like a big hassle.
Now I find that I am back to my old self. I really enjoy having dogs and sharing my love of these funny animals with my children. They love us and make us laugh.

Oh, they are so cute and good friends already.
We have a family dog, Happy, Jack Russell Terrier's smooth
type.
We decided to have her since my son is the only child and needed a
sister dog.
If I don't have any housing limit in Tokyo, I would want another
one, either black Labrador Retriever or Border Collie.
What are their names?

I was adopted by a large fluffy cat a little over a year ago--no collar, he just showed up, scratching at the door and insistent on coming in--it was cold and wet so eventually I got a litter box told him if he knew how to use it and behaved in a gentlemanly manner I would let him in--he immediately used the box and sat there looking as if he was saying "now can I stay?" I asked around the neighborhood and no one knew where he belonged until he showed up one day with a name tag "Apollo" and a phone number. The neighbor had a baby starting to toddle and he (cat) decided to leave. We conferred and decided to honor cat's wishes. He is a perfect cat for either a doctor or a poet.

Cute pictures! We have a dog and a cat. Unfortunately, my cat is very unsociable so Frankie Boy (our dog) often gets chased out of the room. They are definitely like family. Our cat, Judy, is like an old aunt that everyone ignores and puts up with because she belongs to the family - not because she is particularly liked ;)

Your pictures look like they could be advertising "The Human Society." Have you considered getting them an agent and booking them for Modeling gigs? Just a thought...

The pictures are beautiful. The white dog seems to be so happy and protective about the brownie, in the first picture. In the second, "so I have you by my side always, let's see life together" kind of look...
Needless to talk about the third one. Nothing to match the love of the dogs. It finds innumerable ways to show that it cares and loves us.
I am happy that I too have my Abbie to enjoy. My best companion, anyday:) It makes the whole family alive.
