Hi, everyone! I'm SmileyM! : )

I've always been interested in learning and teaching global cultures and languages.

I have taught English for communication to Japanese kids 10's and adults til 60's but mainly working adults students 20's to 50's over 8 years in Tokyo, Japan. Before that, I had been a bilingual and bicultural Corporate Events Coordinator in Corporate Communications at global companies for 15 years.

I'm an American college graduage(New York State) in the late 80's majored in Cross Cultural Psychology and Spanish. After I came back to Japan, I've been a partner member of a Phonics Institute and took a certificate of J-Shine(Japan Shogakko(=elementary school) Instructors of English). I'm a consultant to a Japanese public elementary school to educate the teachers for their English communication skills.

So far, I've visited over 20 countries by private and business trips. Regardless my fluency, I've taken classes of English, Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Farci and Arabic in my life and made a lot of foreign friends since my childhoood.
